A Bombtails Q & A with Origlio Brand Manager Kelly Davis

Kelly Davis Brand Manager at Origlio Beverage

Who is the ideal Bombtails consumer and where are they shopping or drinking? Anyone who is looking for a party in a bottle at a great price! Whether it’s grabbing some at a takeout shop on your way to a girls’ night out or stopping at your favorite distributor before heading to a tailgate, Bombtails are perfect for anyone looking to add some fun to an occasion.

Which flavor is currently performing best in our market, and why do you think that is? Pornstar Martini and Sex on the Beach were neck and neck at launch, but Sex on the Beach has slowly climbed to the top spot. I think retailers and consumers are always looking for innovation, but with recognizable flavors.

Are there any upcoming programs, displays, or incentives tied to Bombtails that retailers should know about? It’s hard to believe, considering the success we’ve had since launch, but Bombtails is still only available in 12 states nationwide. Unlike many brands that enter the market with established programs, we’re still working on building those out. There’s undoubtedly more to come, so stay tuned!

How are other accounts successfully displaying or promoting Bombtails right now? Having Bombtails placed at the register with visible pricing is the best way to capture that impulse buy! Bombtails are conveniently packaged so that retailers can simply tear the top back and have a ready to sell container. We also have corrugated racks that retailers can fill with all 4 flavors! We’re currently working on additional pieces so that we can get Bombtails into the cooler because as we all know, cold is sold!
