Established in 1979 by homebrewers Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. has a proud history. The brewery crafted the first batch of what was to become a landmark in American craft brewing – Sierra Nevada Pale Ale – in 1980, securing their status as one of the pioneers of American craft beer. Today, their beers (from hoppy hazies to old school barleywines and everything in between) are counted among the best brewed anywhere in the world. The brewery remains 100% independent today, and goes above and beyond to not only produce top-tier beers, but to do so as sustainably as possible.
