Warehouseman Vinh Vuong has been with Origlio for an impressive 18 years, building his career along the way. He started as a helper on a truck, spent time as a nightshift picker, and now works as a dayshift replenisher in the warehouse, making sure product is always available for the pickers. For Vinh, being a top-notch warehouseman means staying on task and consistently and proficiently handling assigned duties. What he enjoys most about the job is the friendships he’s made along the way. His advice to new warehousemen is simple and straightforward: do what’s asked, stay on top of your responsibilities, and always be accountable.
What motivates you most in life? My family, 100%.
Your favorite local restaurant or bar is… It’s hard to pick just one, I have several and they are all Vietnamese & Chinese restaurants. I do really like Pho Today on Adams Ave. in Philadelphia. I just love Asian food!
What does your ideal weekend look like? A great weekend for me includes fishing, drinking some beers, and spending time away with my family.
What’s your go-to karaoke song? I’m not one to do karaoke, although I do love to sing and listen to music. My favorite song to sing would have to be Happy Birthday.
If you could be anywhere, drinking any alcoholic beverage… I would be in Vietnam, where I was born and raised, with an ice-cold Corona in my right hand and a Heineken in my left!
