After 35 years with Origlio, Warehouseman Frank Sanville is retiring in June of 2025. Hired as a non-CDL Delivery Service Representative (DSR)/Warehouseman, Sanville obtained his CDL license through the company in 1991 and became a fulltime Warehouseman in 2015. He continues to make brewery runs in emergency or coverage-needed situations. To be a great Warehouseman, he says it takes “thick skin and the ability to adapt and overcome obstacles that present themselves on a daily basis.” To his credit, Sanville has embraced and mastered new technology. “As we evolve and the company grows, there are new processes and technology we all need to learn, and that can be challenging, but we have to adapt,” says Sanville.
What advice would you give a new Warehouseman? Keep your nose clean, show up every day ready to work and avoid any drama.
Your favorite holiday activity is… I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren on Christmas day.
Your favorite holiday movie is… Lost in Paradise. Some may not classify this as a holiday movie, but they do rob a bank on Christmas Eve.
If you had your own talk show, who would your first three guests be, past or present? Elvis Presley, John Wayne, and General George S. Patton.
Three things on your bucket list are… Visit the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, and Australia.
What is the best advice you have ever received? My father-in-law told me to work hard every day and ignore the pain!
What are you looking forward to the most in retirement? Spending more time with my wife and grandchildren. And it’s gonna feel great to not have to punch a clock every day like I have for the past 45 years!
If you could be anywhere, with a drink in your hand… I’d be enjoying a Great Northern Lager on a beach in Australia.
