Caitlyn Musselman, a Brand Manager and Origlio employee for nearly 18 years, brings extensive experience from prior roles as Account Specialist, Sales Rep, and District Manager. In her current role, she acts as a liaison between Origlio and its suppliers, representing Boston Beer and Gallo in the PA market. Caitlyn also develops sales programming, manages budgets, provides the sales team with tools for success, and works with purchasing to manage inventory. She enjoys collaborating with colleagues and industry partners, while her biggest challenge is forecasting new SKUs without a “crystal ball.” To succeed in her role, she stresses the importance of staying organized, embracing change, and making confident decisions. Her advice to newcomers: stay positive, remain curious, be accessible, and support decisions with clear reasoning.
What motivates you most in life? My family and positive reinforcement. Earning money doesn’t hurt either (haha).
If you could instantly master any skill… I’d be a wiz at Excel.
What does your ideal weekend look like? An ideal weekend for me is the way I spend weekends in the summer. I usually head to the shore on Fridays and enjoy time with family on what we call our “TGIF” nights. On Saturdays, I love hanging with friends and we always have “Sunday Funday” at home with the family.
The most adventurous thing you’ve ever done is… I wouldn’t say it was the most adventurous thing, because it wasn’t on purpose, but years ago we had a team building event and my co-worker Brian Doyle and I were in a canoe that tipped over in water that was filled with water snakes! I was NOT a happy camper.
Your favorite local restaurant or bar is… It depends whether or not I’m with my kids, but I’d say MaGerk’s – it’s a great spot with or without children.
Your go-to karaoke song is… “No Scrubs” by TLC.
If you could be anywhere, drinking any alcoholic beverage… I’d be in the Caribbean drinking Dogfish Head Liquid Truth Serum.
