Off-Premise District Manager
How long have you been with Origlio Beverage? I just celebrated my 17th year in November.
What positions have you held within the company? I was an off-premise sales rep for a little over five years and have been a district manager since 2007.
What does your current job entail? A lot of different things. Most importantly, it’s managing my sales team to make sure the whole Origlio portfolio is well merchandised, displayed and priced at retail. Day to day, my team and I look for opportunities to grow and expand the great brands we represent. I provide my team with the sales tools they need to execute our marketing programs and help them achieve our monthly sales goals. Customer service is also very important. Identifying and resolving any customer issues, as well as answering questions about our products and availability, is a large part of my job.
What do you like most about your job? No day is ever the same! There are always multiple challenges and things to get done. I have had great sales teams to work with as well, which makes my job a lot easier.
What skills does it take to be a top-notch district manager? Multi-tasking, organization and leadership skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of the industry, are all very important in order to do this job well.
What do you like to do when you’re not working? I like to travel and watch, or go to, sporting events. But what I enjoy the most is getting together with family and friends for any occasion.
If you could be anywhere, drinking any beer, where would you be and what beer would be in your hand? Any beach with sand and sun, drinking my new favorite – White Claw Black Cherry Hard Seltzer!
