Managing Graphic Designer
How long have you been with Origlio Beverage? Just over a year.
What does your current job entail? I am a graphic designer for the Reading sign shop. I make everything from banners, vinyl wraps (for beer coolers, draft carts, etc.) and window mesh, to posters, beer menus and tap handles. Not only do I design, but I also do production, like printing the designs I create. Occasionally, I get to go out to accounts and apply vinyl wraps.
What is the best thing about your job? My job allows me to be creative on a daily basis.
What does it take to make sure your department runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis? We communicate with the sales reps to ensure their needs are met, and always ask for feedback. The use of the Adobe creative libraries is an extremely useful tool that makes my job easier and more efficient. Also, the great equipment we have allows us to print quickly, from our smallest printer called “Beauty”, to the behemoth we call “Beast”.
What do you like to do when you’re not working? Everything! When I’m not working I enjoy painting, crafting, cooking, baking and gardening. I’m passionate about animals and my pets. I’m also passionate about music and going to concerts. I love to travel, especially to new places. I enjoy going to plays, musicals and attending sports games. I like being adventurous and trying new things!
If you could be anywhere, drinking any beer, where would you be and what beer would you have in your hand? I would be drinking a hard cider, probably a Woodchuck, somewhere in Alaska, enjoying beautiful scenery that I hope to someday travel to.
