Sly Fox Summer Selections

Sly Fox invites beer lovers to explore both the virtues of Weisse and the seductiveness of a classic Belgian ale this summer. Royal Weisse is a true Bavarian-style unfiltered wheat beer in a can — the perfect refresher under a beach umbrella or on the golf course. And the dry and spicy Incubus is an Abbey-style tripel, ideal for savoring at leisure as the cool of evening descends. Day or night, there’s a Sly Fox beer that is perfect for you!

Weyerbacher Muse

Allagash Hugh Malone Ale

Hugh Malone Ale is part of Allagash’s Tribute Series. The base of this beer includes English two row malt and pale crystal malt, establishing an understated sweetness. To give Hugh Malone its hop character, generous portions of Simcoe hops are added at two points in the brewing process, followed by a third dry hopping period. This 8.5 % ABV ale has a malty palate and a pronounced bitterness, with a pleasantly dry, hoppy finish.

Hugh Malone is a tribute to responsible agricultural practices and informed consumption. Allagash Brewing Company will donate $1 from every bottle of Hugh Malone sold to the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA), a non-profit organization that educates farmers and gardeners about organic cultivation. MOFGA is the country’s largest and oldest state organic farmer coalition, who work to create resources for consumers interested in buying local and organic foods. Try pairing Hugh Malone with a hanger steak and pommes frites or sharp cheddar cheese.
