Gambrinus
Founded by Carlos Alvarez in 1986, Gambrinus began as a small beer importer, serving the Southwest region of the United States. Since then, Alvarez has expanded and his company now provides the continental US with many fine beers.

“If this is Wicked, we should all enjoy being bad.” This Gold and Silver Medal Winner at the 2003 Great American Beer Festival (Brown Ale Category) is a brilliant ruby-brown color. Its taste is redolent of rich malt and chocolate overtones. The beer’s flavor features a medium body with an initial sweetness that is balanced by hop bitterness that dispels the myth that all dark beers are heavy and bitter. Soothingly drinkable and good with food, it pairs best with beef, bar-b-que, stew, mushrooms, smoked meat and chili. |
